I have been going to Island View Lodge for 19 years now, twice a year whenever I can. I love the fishing, nature and beauty of the Northwoods and that’s what you get at Island View Lodge. The cabins are only feet away from the water, one of my favorite things is sitting on the screened in porch in the cabin or at the lodge watching the lake, the eagles, the loons and the deer. The fishing is excellent, everything from pan fish, bass, northerns, walleye to the big musky!!! You can walk out of your cabin and right on to your own pier which is only steps from your cabin door, where you can have your own boat or one you can rent. The lodge is very nice as well, great owners, they take great pride in their resort you can tell, I mean the owner, when weather permits, hangs the sheets for the cabins out to dry so they are nice and fresh!!! They just make you feel so comfortable and welcome!!! The lodge has excellent food, best cheeseburger and fish fry I’ve ever had, well actually everything I’ve had there to eat has been really good including the pizza. I just can’t express enough what a great place Island View Lodge is to stay at, I would recommend it to anyone who likes the Northwoods!!!
